The Stitch Ladi needlepoint starter guide printed as a 5x7 booklet

How to Get the Starter Guide Bound for Under $7

The starter guide prints fine on a home printer. Loose pages in a folder, functional. But if it's going in a project bag instead of a drawer, it holds up better as an actual booklet: stapled, pocket-sized, nothing sliding out at the bottom of a bag full of thread.

What you're printing

The guide is formatted as an 8-page booklet at 5 x 7 inches, cover included. That size was chosen on purpose: small enough to live in a project bag without folding, big enough to read without a magnifier.

How to order it

Download the booklet file
PDF · 8 pages · Formatted for a 5 x 7 saddle-stitch booklet

At Vistaprint, look for Saddle-Stitch Booklets under Marketing Materials. Set size to 5" x 7", orientation to Portrait, and page count to 8p (cover + 4 inside), which matches the file exactly. Binding placement is Left Side. Upload the PDF, choose a paper (Standard Matte is a sensible default for both inside and cover), and order 1.

What it actually costs

One booklet, standard matte paper: $6.89. Budget paper: closer to $6. Shipping runs separately, roughly $5 for economy delivery.

The full guide, what's in the kit and how to use it, is in last week's post.
